2、ank designed for use with Bogen SBA-Series Room Sel ector Panel s. The SCR25A provides 25 sil icon-control l ed rectifiers and programmabl e jumpers, and permits the use of either a momentary switch (such as the Bogen CA17) or a tel ephone handset with fixed cl osure for cal l -in from each staff l

3、ocation. The SCR25A provides annunciator l atching (as needed) to keep the appropriate LED l amp il l uminated until the cal l is acknowl - edged. Jumpers are provided to sel ect the method of cal l -in (momentary switch or fixed cl osure handset). The modul e is connected to the switchbank by a pl

4、ug-in method. Termination is via centerl ine connectors (Panduit or equival ent). CAUTION: The installation of accessory equipment requires the removal of protective covers; exposure of internal components presents an electrical shock hazard. Accessory equipment should be installed by qualified serv

5、ice personnel only. Connections 1. Al ign the SCR25A Cal l -In Modul e with the connector pins l ocated at the rear of the SBA-Series panel and careful l y press into pl ace. 2. Make speaker and annunciator connections directl y to the SCR25A modul e as you woul d to the room sel ector panel . Note:

6、The pins that normal l y woul d not have been used on the SBA-series panel do not appear on the SCR25A panel . Power Requirements 1. Jumper J26 in the upper right hand corner of the SCR25A printed circuit board must be in the Mul ti-Graphic position, as il l ustrated in the diagram on the PC board.

7、2. Connect a wire from one of the pins marked P12, in the l ower right hand corner, to the positive (+) terminal on an external 12V DC power suppl y. Connect the negative (-) terminal on the power suppl y to ground on the MCP35A. If more than one SCR25A is used, paral l el P12 to each SCR25A. Note t

8、hat if onl y one or two SCR25A modul es are used, they can be powered from the +12V terminal on the rear of the MCP35A. Mode Selection For each channel using momentary switch contracts (no SCR) for cal l -in, set the corresponding jumper (J1-J25) to the TOGGLE position (towards l eft, as l ooking at

9、 the rear). For each channel to which a phone or SCR-equipped cal l -in switch (Bogen CA10 or CA11) is connected, set the correspon- ding jumper (J1-J25) to the PHONE positioned (towards right, as l ooking at the rear). For cl arity, two diagrams showing the rel ative positions of jumpers J1-J25 and

10、 J26 are screened on to the PC board.
