If the system is brought directly froma cold to a warm location, or isplaced in a very damp room,moisture may condense on the lensof the CD un
10、it inside the system.Should this occur, the CD player willnot operate normally. Leave thepower on for about one hour withno disc in the system until normalplayback is possible.Electrostatic discharge may causeunexpected problems. See whetherthese problems disappear if youunplug the AC power cord and

32、TO“. The PROGRAM starts flashing. PLUG and PLAY will startsearching for all radio stations onFM band and then followed byradio stations on AM band. All available radio stations withsufficient signal strength will bestored. Up to 40 presets may bestored. The last preset radio station willappear on th

38、stration mode (ifdemonstration mode is enable)OPERATING THE SYSTEMDemonstration modeThe system has a demonstration modethat shows the various features offeredby the system.To disable the demonstrationmodePress and hold (on the systemonly) for five seconds when thesystem is in demonstration mode. “DE
39、MO OFF“ is displayed. The system will switch to standbymode.To enable the demonstrationmodePress and hold (on the systemonly) for five seconds when thesystem is in standby mode. The demonstration will begin.Notes: If the demonstration mode has not beendisabled, it will resume five seconds laterafter
40、 the system switches to standbymode. When the system is switched on fromthe main power outlet, the CD changertray may open and close again toinitialize the set.Even though the AC power cord isremoved from and reconnected to thewall socket, the demonstration willremain off until it is switched on aga
41、in.Switching the system ON Press CD, TUNER, TAPE or AUX.Press STANDBY-ON in demo.You can also switch on the system bypressing any one of the CD DIRECTPLAY buttons (on the system only).Switching the system tostandby modePress STANDBY-ON or B on theremote control.
