3、 base Fig. 6-1 17 6.1 UNIT DISASSEMBLY 1. Open the dust cover and remove the rubber sheet and turntable. 2. Close the dust cover and gently turn the unit over. Place the unit on something soft that wont scratch the dust cover. 3. Removing screw O releases the under base. 4. Removing screw f) release
4、s the motor assembly. 5. Removing screw releases the control board unit. 6. Removing screw 8 releases the SW board unit, and removing screw0releases the PU board unit. 7. To remove the dust cover, open it up and remove the plastic rivets labeled 0 . (The plastic rivets can be re moved easily by push
5、ing the pins from the inside of the dust cover.) 8. Removing screwfjwill release the mechanism base unit. Mechanism base board assembly 6.2 CARRIAGE REMOVAL 1. Remove the fixer from the carriage and the wire from the pulley. (See Figure 6.2) 2. Remove screw fl)and pull the guide bar away from the ca
6、rriage in the direction indicated by the arrow. The carriage and tonearm assembly can now be removed. 3. 7、rd assembly Fig. 6-3 Carriage Removal 18 6.3 REPLACING THE CARRIAGE WIRE After assembling the carriage and tonearm assemblies in the opposite order of the previous section, replace the carriage wire according to the following steps. 1. Adjust the length of the wire unit as shown in figure 6-4 2. Att
8、ach the wire unit grommet to the spring of the worm wheel as shown in figure 6-4 . Then wind the wire onto the worm wheel taking care not to let it get caught in the worm wheel groove. Also be careful not to let the wire overlap. 3. Holding both the wire and the worm wheel, connect the wire to the w
9、ire guard and attach the worm wheel to the mechanism base. 4. As shown in figure 6-4 , put the wire around the pulley, and push the fixer into the carriage until it locks with a click. 10、nt 6.4 LEAD LINE DISPOSAL 1. Slide carriage to the left as far as it will go. 2. Insert enough lead line to reach from the clamp to the motor holder. (Indicated by arrows) Insert the thickest line last. 3. Move the carr-iage to the left and right, and check to make sure that the lead lines dont hit

40、erns from 02 pin 15 to JP7 pin 4. YES OK Check the phono motor The phono motor doesnt STOP. Push the SIS SW and move the tonearm back to the rest. Is 01 pin 10 H? YES Is JP7 pin 4 approximately 0. 1V? YES 41 14.4 THE SWITCHES FAIL TO WORK Faulty switch Check the patterns from the switches to the 01

YES Raise the tonearm. Place the tonearm on the EV bar V groove. Is the voltage between the TP TRKG and G approximately 1.

Perform a pattern check from 01 pin 8 to 02 pin 5. Perfrom pattern and error checks from
44、 02 pin 12 to R6, and 03 pin 15. Perform a pattern check from O 1 pins 4 and 5 to 03 pins 4 and 5. Readjust the tracking sensor. NG Perform pattern and mismounting checks on the carriage base board, and check the connections from JP201 to CN2 pin 1. 14.6 TONEARM MOVEMENT Are the motor belt and drive
45、 wire properly attached? Faulty motor. OK Does the motor turn when the belt is removed? Check the parts i.e. worm gear, wheel, wire carriage. Check the pattern from the 0/C switch to JP5 and 01 pin 12. Does the UP LED fail to light? YES Check the patterns from O 1 pins 4 and 5 to 03 pins 4 and 5. Sw
46、itch failure. YES The tonearm fails to move. Is approximately 11V being applied to the both terminals of the drive motor? NO With CN3 removed, is the voltage YES between CN3 (male) pins and 2 approximately 11 V? NO Does the tonearm only move toward the center of the record? Check connections and sol
47、dering up to JP301, the mechanism base board, and the JP302 motor. Is 01 pin 27 H? NO i.-1 YES YES Are both 01 pins 4 and 5 H? NO YES Are they both L?
