(Refer to the page 3/3 for details.) 2. SUBJECT: Serial Numbers to which the countermeasure for the cracked P. W. Board has been appl

2、ied upon production of the units. 3. SYMPTOM: In case of the AVR-1403 G1C, the pattern was disconnected due to a crack of the P. W. Board of the MINI TRANS section, and a failure occurred that the Power is not turned on. 4. CAUSE: The yield strength of the unit against the vibration and/or the drop

3、was reduced due to an increase of the gap between the P. W. Board and the MINI TRANS and the weight of the MINI TRANS part than the former model. 5. COUNTERMEASURE: Upon production of the above models, we have applied the modification for preventing the crack of the P. W. Board to all the E models o

4、f AVR-1403, AVR-1603 and AVR-1803 whose structures of the MINI TRANS sections are the same as AVR-140 G1C. Contents of the Countermeasure: 1) We additionally attached cushions between the bottom chassis and the P. W. Board of the MINI TRANS section. 2) We fixed the leg section of the MINI TRANS sect

5、ion and the P. W. Board by using a Bond. 6. MODIFICATION: 1) Remove nine screws on the Top Cover. (3 on the left, 3 on the right and 3 on the rear of the Top Cover.) 2) Remove the P. W. Board and Back Panel from the bottom chassis together. Screws to be removed are as follows: Remove two screws on t

6、he bottom. (Under the Heat-sink.) Remove four screws on the edge of the Back Panel. Remove eleven screws that are fixing the P. W. Board on the bottom chassis. 7、 709) on the pattern side of the P. W. Board of the MINI TRANS. (Fig. 1) 4) Apply Bond (SC608Z) to the leg portions of the MINI TRANS to fix the legs on the P. W. Board. (Fig. 2) Modification part.
