The materials originally used in the take-up clutch have after prolonged operation in hot environments in some cases shown a tendency of excessive wear. Clutch components in a better material were

2、introduced in production from the follow- ing serial numbers: 3000X: 2 732 366 6000X: 2 805 637 The same parts are available as service kits comprising: 1 ea take-up turntable with friction pads, and mylar sheet with felt part No. 991034 1 ea take-up friction disc with coupling disc, spring, ball be

3、aring and bushing part No. 991009 The parts can also be ordered separately according to the following list: Take-up turntable part No. 991034 Mylar sheet part No. 991033 Coupling disc with felt part No. 991035 Take-up friction disc part No. 991009 In some units, the bushing in the friction disc has

4、a wide flap instead of a small stud to prevent rotation. The bushing with the flap can be snapped out of the bearing by means of a screwdriver and must be installed in the new friction disc to facilitate the rest of the assemblv (See drawing overleaf) The hatched areas indicate the adhesive coating holding the friction pads.
