Thesegmentshows“uOS”.StartplayingtheMIDIfilefromthesequencer.Whileafileis loading,thebottomlineofthedisplayshowstheprogr
17、ess.Ifthedisplaycontinuestoshow afterstartingthesequencer,stopandrestartthesequence. 6. Afterthefileisloaded,thedisplaywillshow“oK”. 7. Ifyouhaveadditionalfilestoload,openthefilefromthesequencerandbeginplayingit. 8. PresstheCancelbuttontwicetoreturntothemainmenu.ScrolltoHardResetandselect. Trouble S

Beforecontinuing,besuretosavealluserprogramsandsetups. 1. ConnectaMIDIcablefromtheMIDIOutportofthecomputerinterfaceorsequencerto theMIDIInportontheSP2X. 2.
19、 Usingthesequencerprogram,openthefirst.MIDfile. 3. TurnontheSP2XandfollowtheproceduretoentertheBootBlock. 4. PresstheEnterbuttontoselect. 6. Thesegmentshows.Startplaying theMIDIfilefromthesequencer. Whileafileisloading,thebottomlineofthedisplayshowstheprogress.Ifthedisplay continuestoshow afterstart
20、ingthesequencer,stopandrestartthe sequence. 7. Afterthefileisloaded,theunitwillreset. Replacing the Battery TheSP2XusesaflatthreevoltLithiumcoincellbattery.Whenthebatteryvoltagerunslow,the unitbootsupwithalowbatterymessage. 21、ge 30formoreinformation. Accessing the Battery 1. PlacetheSP2Xupsidedownonaflatprotectedsurface. 2. Removetopassemblyandsetitsafelyaside. Removing the Battery Thebattery(CR2032)intheSP2XismountedintoaholderontheEngineBoardandis accessiblewhentheaccesspanelisremoved. 1. Insertaflatplastictool(plastic

34、yispressedfurther,themiddle decimalpointsindicatesthatthesecondrubberswitchhasalsomadecontact.Thuswhenakeyis pressedslowly,thefollowingsequenceshouldbeobservedexactly0. BlankDisplayCorrectKeynameandleftdecimalpointCorrectlyKeynameandleftand centerdecimalpoints Ifthecorrectkeynameandonlythecenterdeci
35、malpointlights,thenthereisadefectassociated withthefirstswitch.Ifall3decimalpointslight,theneithermorethanonekeyisprocessingat onceorthereisashortcircuitintheconnectingorontheconnector. Switch Pedals IfasingleswitchpedalispluggedintotheSWjack,operatingitshouldcasearesponseinthe display.ForKurzweilpe
36、dals,pressingthepedalshouldcause“S1C”tobedisplayedwhile releasingitshouldcause“S1o”tobedisplayed.Othervenderspedalsmaycausetheopposite response.Ifadualpedalispluggedin,thentheSustain(right)pedalshoulddisplayasdescribed above.TheSoftpedal(left)shouldcause“S2C”and“S2o”todisplay.Aswiththebuttons,the di

Continuous Pedals IfcontrolpedalispluggedintotheCCjack,operatingitshouldcausethedisplaytoshow“CP1” brieflythenitschangingvalues.Aswiththevolumesliderandknobs,thevaluedisplayshould smoothlyincreasefrom0to1upto254or255asthepedali
