Symptom: Update the software in order to minimize component over dissipation if the power amp output transistors fail. Solution: 1. Change the proc

2、edure for the protection operation that may be performed while the unit is in operation. BEFORE MODIFICATION Originally, the unit was designed to go into STANDBY mode with the STANDBY LED flickering every 500m sec. upon detection of an abnormality; it would never be powered on by the standby switch

3、or the remote control, so component over dissipation never occurred. However, if the unit was plugged in again, it could occur before the unit went into standby a few seconds later. AFTER MODIFICATION The unit has been modified never to be powered on by any means once it goes into standby with the s

4、tandby led flickering every 125m sec., unless the specialized procedure (*1) described below is performed. *1: If the unit cannot be powered on after being plugged in again (with the STANDBY LED flickering every 125m seconds), the power amp has failed. The unit still can be powered on again through

5、the following method, but it can further damage the power amplifier.
